A graduation project exhibition by the Department of Clothing & Textiles, Soft Awakening, inspired by reflections on sustainable fashion, will be held from June 17 to 20 at Gallery 1 of Cheongpa Gallery on the Second Foundation Campus.
The exhibition will open daily at 9 a.m. and run until 7 p.m. on weekdays and 5 p.m. on Saturday. The opening ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. on June 17.
Under the guidance of Professors Lim Ho-seon and Min Jun-young, 11 emerging designers from the Department of Clothing & Textiles participated in this exhibition. Grounded in their exploration of sustainable fashion, the exhibition presents diverse perspectives on the environment and society through the students’ design work.
Under the theme Soft Awakening, students expressed moments of gradual transformation in which senses begin to awaken and new possibilities emerge. Standing at the turning point of graduation, they explored sustainable fashion in their own ways and sought to present varied perspectives and future directions.

Kim Jeong-min, Chair of the Graduation Project Exhibition Committee, said, “This graduation project exhibition became more than a space to showcase our works—it became a place that reflects each participant’s thoughts, attempts, and creative process. In particular, this exhibition is the result of the collective effort and time of many people, something that would have been difficult to accomplish alone. I would like to express my gratitude to my fellow students who prepared together and to our professors for their guidance. I hope many visitors will connect with and empathize with the stories behind each work.”
Student Wi Ji-in said, “Through the process of reinterpreting discarded materials into digital garments, I was able to realize the expanded possibilities of sustainable design.”
Professors Lim Ho-seon and Min Jun-young said, “This graduation project exhibition showcases how students translated their creative ideas on sustainable fashion into various forms including 3D virtual garments, physical garments, and textile products. Through this exhibition, which reflects the students’ passion and dedication, we hope visitors will gain insight into new possibilities and future directions for sustainable fashion proposed from each student’s unique perspective.”
